Teaching Jobs for Beginners and Experts
NOTE ABOUT JOB OPENINGS: While this page mostly discusses music teaching positions and music teacher job opportunities, we also are seeking assistant managers and/or receptionists. We provide training to everyone (learn while you earn).
TEACHERS and POTENTIAL TEACHERS: In addition to experts who have a music degree, teaching credentials, and many years of teaching experience, we also want beginner and inexperienced music, piano, and voice teachers who are eager to learn. Dennis Frayne Music Studio teaches teachers! We will provide training and mentorship as you work toward certification in our curriculum, methods, and teaching philosophies and strategies. When you have completed our training (provided), you will be an expert music teacher, and will teach with confidence, wisdom, and experience. Learn while you earn! And, ultimately you may become a leader in your field of expertise, and teach and mentor other teachers.
Our curriculum, methods, philosophies, and strategies are exemplary and appropriate for today’s youth - they are not rooted in outdated thinking like so many of the more popular method books. These method books are problematic in many ways, yet too many teachers don’t yet understand the harm they cause to students. Some teachers realize it late in their careers. Don’t become a teacher who, after years of teaching, wishes to go back and start over, and says, “I want to apologize to all my students for teaching them the way I was taught, which I have now learned is all wrong, and even harmful.” This is the plight of so many music teachers today, especially piano teachers. Instead, learn an exceptional approach from the beginning that helps students come to love making music, love taking piano lessons, learn healthy, tension-free playing techniques, and perform with confidence and ease.
