Weekly Forum

Our first Forum will take place tomorrow morning, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 8:15am, up in the Suite 205 Ensemble Room. Each Forum consists of two 30-minute sessions. Students can attend one or both sessions. So, students could come from 8:15-8:45, and/or 8:45-9:15 am. 

You do not need to RSVP or register for Forum. You just show up! Students are encouraged to perform, but if you prefer to just watch, you can do that, too! Time permitting, students can perform more than once.

Our Concert Performance Team (CPT) performed this past Sunday, 1/19/25, at  Trabuco Hills Post-Acute in Lake Forest. 

Last Friday, students performed at Chamber Music OC in Lake Forest on their beautiful 9’ Steinway grand piano for our first Themed Recital, “Sets of Music.” (See representative photos at bottom.) 

Wow! Some students played two songs or pieces, some students played many more (one student played 12 short songs, from memory, including knowing the set list from memory). Many were short songs and pieces, some were longer, including a few masterworks.

Our hearts long for a calming of the firestorms that continue to devastate Los Angeles and other nearby California counties. We hope and pray that everyone here is safe and healthy. I know many of us have family and friends who are experiencing this closeup. Some have had to go up there to help their families. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help in some way.

We hope everyone who celebrates has had a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a wonderful holiday season, and is looking forward to a Happy New Year!

Congratulations to our CPT performers! We were a small but mighty group this past Sunday in San Juan Capistrano!

A special thank you to Maryam,who sang three beautiful arias! It is a joy to accompany her at the piano and while she sings.

A warm and spirited Congratulations and Thank You to all our wonderful winter performers and their marvelous teachers!
We successfully completed four recitals over two days and two venues (November 27 in Laguna Hills, and December 8 in Mission Viejo). Almost 80 students and teachers performed for us!

We look forward to seeing many of you at our second session of “Christmas & The Holiday Season” Recitals, this Sunday, December 8th!
